Hey all,
Has anybody had any luck transplanting a power brake booster and m/c from a newer ford product in a early stang? I'm thinking 69/70 style. Sorry but my stang won't get a geo unit....just stubborn I guess and they look like junk to me.

Yes, you can do it. Some folks have used a master cylinder from late '80s to early '90s Ford Rangers. You can buy kits from several different suppliers. I'm looking to upgrade our '65 using a '67 or '68 dual resivoir master cylinder. We already have the booster in the stang.

That is exactly what I was looking for. I will probably go that route as well. Was it hard to adaptthe brake pedal to the booster rod?
