I believe the '71-'73 are wider at the spacing of the screws than the '69-'70. You can use the remote feature just by drilling your door panel and using the right escutcheon/nut.------------------

That's good info Steve. Thanks. There's another auction out there for driver's and passenger's side remote mirrors that are already painted champagne gold. May have to put them on my watch list.
