 How do you get theses suckers on? I tried to push the pin through the hole in the knob but they wont go in, I think I've bruised my thumb!------------------ 1969 Mustang Sportsroof 302 with 3 Speed Stick !!!Totally Stock!!!

 That's what I figured. Are the handle held on with a clip or with a screw behind the center cover? I believe it's a screw but don't want to mess up the handles before I find out for sure.
