I have TRI-Ys on a 289 block, what size header bolts do i need? I noticed that im missing the first 4 on the right side (if your looking at it from the front->back)

Im gonna try and pick these up today.. also, could i lose hp from having the headers not tight?

i used to be able to burn out, but now i just stick... nothings changed.

Just ask for header bolts at the parts store. They should know what you need. Oh, they usually come in a 6 or 12 pack because that's what chebbies use so you'll have to get extra packs if you're going to replace them all.

Yes, 3/8" coarse thread. But normal bolts won't usually work, their heads are too large. Special header bolts with 3/8" or 7/16" heads are what are generally needed.

I believe Chevy bolts are only 5/16" and won't work on Fords.

Good Luck!
