hello everybody. I wonder does any one know where to get a tailshaft housing gasket for a toploader.. I gotta change the speedo drive gear. ------------------

A Ford dealer should have them. If not, David Kee stocks all sorts of parts for them:

Your local parts store should have them. I got a Felpro set from Advance for $5.99. I'll get the part # when I go up to my garage tonight.

Felpro # TS 13405. You should be able to get that from any parts store, or they can cross it over to their brand.

Dennis,I changed several speedo gears and just reused the old gasket every time. A little form a gasket will even fix a torn/broken gasket. Don't let the gasket stop you.  SteveW
