I bought a vacuum gauge to test if my valve guides are bad (I was told they are) but I can't find where to put it. I have a 66' 200CID, and niether the instruction manual for it nor my chiltons book has the location to hook it up on the I-6. Does anybody have a diagram they know of online or can someone describe where to hook it up?

Look for a vaccum nipple at the base of your carb.

Make sure that the vacuum fitting that you use on your carb is the 'manifold vacuum' source, and not the 'timed' or 'ported vacuum' source.
Manifold vacuum is strongest at idle, and that is the one you will want to use for this test. Ported vacuum builds as the engines RPM's increase and is usually used for vacuum advance diaphragms on distributors.
The manifold vacuum port is usually much bigger in diameter than the ported vacuum fitting.

I can't find it anywhere. The carb is a remanufactured holley, it says 2910 but I don't see any listing of that on their website.

You can use the PCV port on your carb or intake and you can use the port your auto trans vacuum line connects to. Just make sure you re-attach them
