Can someone please tell me if a steering wheel hub/adapter is the same for a 68 mustang as a 69-73. Bob

What do you mean by a steering wheel hub/adapter? Where does it fit in relation to the steering wheel and what is its function? Armed with that info, I think I can answer your question

Fastback68 I think the info you want is I plan on putting on an aftermarket wheel, Sparco. And the hub adapter for the wheel. The site that sells the wheels and adapters says they have adapters for 69-73.I just wanted to know if this adapter will work on a 68 also. Bob

Ah ha! Now I understand my confusion. I couldn't figure out how there could be an "adapter" if you were talking original parts. I can tell you that the horn ring on a 68 and 69 are, to all intents and purposes, identical, and so the cut-outs which receive these at the top of the steering column should be the same. I thought that might be what you meant by an adapter. The 68 steering wheel then just pops on top, lining up with a single notch if memory serves. It seems likely the 69 wheel would be the same, but I can't tell you that - sorry I think you should ask your supplier. I presume they specify 69-73 for a reason. Good luck, Simon
