My Hayne's manual gives specs but for all 302's which is geared toward the later carbed models. Does anyone have the correct specs for timing, dwell, curb idle and fast idle for a 68-69 302 2 bbl with manual trans?

Here's what I went with...

Dwell 29 (More like 29 3/4)
Curb Idle 650
Fast Idle 1300
Timing 6 Btc
Vacuum 20 inches plus

Does this sound right? Seems to be running quite well.

Thanks for the info. I cant seem to find the BF-42's. I had to settle for the Champion equivilent. I had one plug that was oiled up a little so I think I've got a bad valve stem seal. I just changed the oil and put in Valvoline Max Life to hopefully get me by until I replace the seals or the heads. Doesn't seem to be losing any oil but I figured "what the heck?"

!!!

Autolite 45s would fit the bill. You can find them locally or Alex sells them.
