heat gun and glue remover.. thats known, but what can i put on the top (paint wise) to keep it from rusting. I was thinking since it has a White vynol top, finding some White Rust-Stopper paint. I can see rust bubbles coming through near the top of the rear window, Im not sure what im going to need to do. Im literally broke, so if taking it off is going to cost more than 50 bucks, let me know so i dont do it. Thanks. ------------------ Tuesday's Gone With The Wind.

Sorry we missed this, buddy! What you're doing is a bit scary because you don't know what you'll find underneath. Where the top is bubbling I'd try to probe and see if there's soft metal there. If there is, you really should weld a patch, bondo will just have you doing the same job later. Most likely, the job will involve you taking the vinyl off, then removing the rear window and repairing the window channel. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Be sure to remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, and Osborn Reproductions.
