I've got one that came off of my '65 GT (I swapped it out for a manual center link), it looks identical to the control valve under my Papa's '63 1/2 Galaxie. The reason I bring this up, I can find seal kits for old Mustang p/s components, but old Galaxie parts seem to be fewer in between (read: $$$). Are they in fact the same valve? My Papa's car leaks p/s fluid damn near as fast as you can pour it in ------------------ 1965 GT coupe, 333ci aluminum headed/solid cammed stroker, four speed, 3.70:1 9" All Blue Oval, no blue bottle http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/V8Thumper.html

Yes they are identicle. Most fo them are except for the thread size for the tie rod. Todd. By the way, Edelmann offers control valve repair kits. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." Edelmann is one of the largest manufacturers of fittings, hydralic hose, and P/S componants. I belive that NAPA (at least ours does) packages or carries Edelmann P/S products. They may even have a website. I seem to recall them merging with Parker- somebody a few years ago, but I may be mistaken.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
