Have 67cpe w/302 & 100k mi. Press ok at start-up, but 5-10 min on highway and press drops close to "L" on guage. When I slow to 55-60mph guage moves up but still on low side. Driving thru town today it was down near "L" at only 30-40mph. Oil lvel fine with 20w50.
Suggestions please !

Get a mechanical oil pressure guage. They are very inexpensive and easy to install.

Alex is right. However, you may want to consider a higher capacity oil pump if the new gauge still shows low pressure.
On the side; back during the 50's when I was young and knew it all, I even flushed out the engine of my '51 flat heat Ford with diesel. You wouldn't believe the crap I got out, and my oil pressure shot up 50%

Probably because your pressure relief valve got stuck with all the gunk floating around. I bet if you would have seen your bearings before and after you would have screamed.
