I would like to put some seatbelts in my stang, and since it was purchased without that option - I have nothing to start with. I looked at snake oil, but it seems like 150 per seat is a bit steep.. Does anyone have any other ideas for places to get some new original looking seatbelts for my mustang???

Thanks in advance..
Brian

Pony Boy

It seems to me that you got hold of Rene at some point before I did , so i will back down on the seatbelts , until you have had a chance to speak with Rene about them and the carb. If you do not want the seatbelts i will then look at them. If Rene does not have the carb you are looking for , I have an Autolite 4100 - 1.12 venturi for sale if you are interested.

No, i did not forget. I just need to get down there. The 66 Mustang belts are like a light blue not a dark like you asked for. They have been on my wall for years......

I need the light blue ones , so if pony boy does not want them , I will take them if they are in decent shape and the buckles are not peeled or rusted. What color are the buckles ? Can you send pics of them ?

Some of Homes'
homey's "procured" the hydraulic system for me Rene.
My Hesse's Julio, Hector, and Home's partners Gatto and Perro helped us with the installation.

Go to any Mustang supply URL to order most any color you like. You could start here.
texasmustang.com
larrysmustang.com

If your Mustang did not come with at least front seat lap belts, I would be completely surprised. Take your frontseats out by pulling the rubber plugs underneath the car, and take the 4 nuts off each seat. Pull the back bottom seat out. Pull the carpet forward from the back seat all the way to the front. You should see two holes with threads on each side of the tranny tunnel. You should also see threaded holes on the outside walls just in front of your back seat. That's where the lap belts for the front screw into.
If you want 3 way seat belts, these companies offer those as well, but you have to mount them to the top of the back window rail. Not an easy task but can be done.

Nah, my Yank tank is stored in Texas. I work for the Department of Defense. Although, some Americans did bring some Mustangs here several years ago, so once in awhile I'll see one running around. They are usually very well maintained too.
Funny seeing a Vintage Mustang driving on the wrong side of the road.
