What is the average going rate for a decent driver condition 6 cyl 65-67 coupe? You know, brakes in decent shape, major mechanical systems working (engine, trans, rear, brakes), no major structural rust, decent interior. What is a good price for a 6 cyl with that description? Hope some of the 6 cyl gurus here can help.------------------ Gary M.- 1970 Mustang Deluxe SportsRoof (daily driver), 1946 Ford pickup, 1947 Ford pickup, 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Town Vic

Depends on your area of the country and what options the car has - P/S, Power Brakes, Pony Interior, console, A/C, etc. The color would also affect the price. In Central Illinois, that could fetch between $2500 and $4000 from your description. It goes up from there depending on condition of body and interior. Maybe in another part of the country, it would bring in more, but that's pretty accurate for here on a consistent basis.

Here in North West Florida, Mustang 6 cylinder mustangs, in the condition you describe, are going between $4,000.00 and $6,000.00. A friend at work has a '66 for sale in great condtion for $6K.
