Does anyone know of any car agencys that will put your classic on a list in case anyone wants to put it in a movie or on a TV show? I dont mean like hot rod TV but maybe a show like the 70s show or a movie. I hear they pay good money to use your car, even if its just in the background. I expect that most of the business is in CA not here in the midwest. anyway I was just wondering if anyone on here has done that, or made any money from it?I will do a wen search and tell you if i find anything interesting.

Oops I meant web search, not my first typo and certainly not my last.anyway I found this place http://www.movievehicles.com/ccs.htm they want money though. I thought they would list you for free and take a cut of the studios money, anyway It smells like a crapy scam, but I was wondering if anyone else has tried this kind of thing. ------------------ '68 coupe 289 C code edel 600cfm carb, performer intake, dual exhaust

We have some promotors here (S. Fl.). Am listed with one and have been called for commercials, etc. Had a good shoot with a Brazilian group for CD pics. They came back last week and got called again but had sold car the day before. New owner not interested. Pay is anywhere from 300 for a couple hours, more if need more complex. Last one would have netted 500. and the guy pays right on the spot! He has a web site and production people look at his site and pick a car. he has everything listed. Don't believe for a minute that red gets all the calls. My car was Tropical Turquoise. Going to stay with those tones.

There is a group in Nashville that does use speciality cars for commercials and music videos, they have came to our club meeting and asked for names and numbers. A few of us did the Martina McBride video last year, most of it ended up on the cutting room floor. 12 long hours in the hot,hot sun for $25 and a meal. Did get to race through Bowling Green without the fear of being ticketed. Did get a promo CD, or my wife got the CD. Mike

there's a place here that has the same thing. But you have to pay to put your car in, but the interior is booming with movies, but not old muscle car era. I cant remember the site, and my cars arent donr, but maybe I will when they are. Rick

Here in Manila, studios pay a going rate of $100 for a running car that they can blow up, more for a period car.

My vehicles are all listed with movie vehicles.com, and they only charge a one-time fee of $35.00 for the first car, and $5.00 for additional. Within a few months of signing up(2 years ago) I was contacted for work for my 'Starsky & Hutch' Torino, for a commercial to be filmed in Toronto with the two original stars of the show. One of them backed out, then the other, so the producers changed the 'premise' of the commercial and did not need the Torino .I did, however, get a 'TacoBell' commercial for the 71'. Most of the offers I turn down because it is not convenient for me to drive there, but there has been no shortage of opportunities.------------------
