Well, I got the #%$& thing out and replaced the blower motor since mine had a rattle due to a worn bearing. This motor was about an inch shorter than the one I took out so the assembly just slid back in. I sanded the inside of the section where the flapper door is located. The back of the box is metal and it had a thin layer of surface rust. Sprayed a little silicone on it and now it will move. Still a little stiff but I belive it will get better with use. Broke the corner off of the defroster duct at the top but it glued back together just fine. Still working on getting the ammeter working and will replace all of the bulbs in the instrument cluster. Heck, at the rate I'm going, I should be able to drive it again before Christmas day... ------------------ 1969 Mustang Sportsroof 302 with 3 Speed Stick !!!Totally Stock!!!
