I have done a search and found some info. but not an answer to my specific question. On my 68 the two rubber wheels are not in thier respective tracks (one on the track on the window, one on the track on the inner quarter panel area). The rollers attach with clips. My question is do I try to put the wheels in the tracks then attach them to the regulator or do I attach them to the regulator then try to feed them in to the tracks? I have tried getting them in to the tracks but with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Youre going to have to loosen up one of the channels from the car. If you dont have a shop manual, get one. It has much useful little thing like the window work.
