.....How much should I pay for an 8000 RPM hipo low profile rally pack ? I have an opportunity to get one ( owner not sure if it works , but , no big deal )all original , no parts or pieces missing , all original connectors. I have seen them on ebay go from $500.00 to $1200.00 U.S. funds. I need your input fairly quickly as I only have a day or two to decide before he puts it on ebay. Looking forward to your responses. Thanks in advance to all of you.

I've seen them go anywhere from $400 for an original to $850 for a fully refurbished 8000 rpm unit. Make sure it works - if your not a 60's tach electrical expert, getting the tach up to snuff on these can run some $$ if it has operational problems.
