Yesterday I was out driving my '70, all was good. I parked it, and came back out and hour later, only to find it was running like s**t and was stalling. Anyway, took the top of the carb (Carter AFB) off, and found one of the needles wasn't seating. I set it right, and now it's okay. But now I want to know, what would cause the needle to just do that? I don't want this to happen again, so how can I prevent it?

Crap in the fuel would be the most likely culprit. Change the filter more often.
