I am fairly new here. I have posted some in the MII forum and classifieds. I am the proud owner of a 78 Cobra II street rod and a 70 Mach 1 in the process of being cloned into a Boss 429. First question is how good are the C9AE 429/460 blocks? How much can they be bored for street use? Also for a 351W that I am building I am looking for a thin head gasket. I am replacing my built DO casting heads with some heavily worked aluminum heads. The D0 heads are around 56 cc's having been shaved 20. The aluminum heads are 60cc and I was looking for a head gasket with a smaller compressed volume. I know the gasket won't make all of it up but it will help. Thanks for the help.

The 429 block can go .125 over safely. They have a ton of material.
Cometic is your only source for thin head Windsor head gaskets. They have them as thin as .012. They have a website.
