I want to upgrade my tranny from the cruise-o-matic to a C-4, and was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation on a good shop to buy one from (or if you are selling one!). I don't want to turn in the CoM as a core either, I hear it'll do a good job keeping my SeaRay from drifting

Here in the Philippines, there's a small supply of NOS Mustang C4s, but I doubt if there would be many left in the US, would there?
Summit has an impressive array of trannies, at impressive prices.
But a junk yard would be my first recommendation. It amazes me how I often I see HORRIBLE old Rustangs going really cheap, but the alloy tranny (that no one can see!) looks in great shape.

Do you want a stock or performance C-4?
Either way, your best bet is JPT Transmission in Eaton Rapids Michigan. 517-663-0578
