Bubbastang's 351W into a 66 coupe post brought to mind my radiator problem. I have a 351W sitting in my 68 coupe. It has fit pretty well once so far, I did just order a compressor bracket from Vintage Air though. To my question, I need a radiator and my neighborhood parts shop wants $600 to bring one in from Indiana! I'd like a four core Modine, but probably will do fine with a three since my compression is only 9.95 to one and I got a mild cam. any advice? Thanks Marc

I agree, go with the 4 core, and a five blade fan.

What about a factory big block rad? I have basically the same thing as my 68 came with air conditioning so it has the 3 core rad.The only difference is the outlet is on the other side for my 302.------------------ 1968 mustang j-code sprint.13.69@101 306cu.in, stock ported heads, weiand exellerator,650 holley DP,hedman hedders, comp 292 Magnum cam,4-speed,8 inch 4.11 detroit locker

Go with the 24" 4 row and ask the rad guy if it's a good rad. he wants 600 for. When he says yes, tell him to stick it up his A$$ 'cause good things don't hurt!! LOL! You'll need to get the lower chairs or brackets and the saddle that goes over the top of rad. Would definitely go 4 row as St. Louis gets hotter than hell in the summer!! a 24' four row 1s 260 in NPD catalog.

... or you can just get the top and bottom tanks off an old Stang radiator (my bottom tank came off a Torino -- I can't remember the year, but it's the same as the 68 big block radiator), and grab the side brackets while you're at it. You'll have to shorten them if you use Torino ones. Then pay any radiator shop to put in four new rows for about $120.

Thanks for the help guys. I just ordered my NPD catalog, and it sounds like its going to save me about $300! With their VIN number quiz filling out the order form from the computer at work took a little... ingenuity.and Fastback, I'll keep that in mind if they don't have a four core that lines up right. Thanks again guys.
