Looking for a set of new shocks for a stock 68 with a 6 cyl. Any recommendations? KYB's any good? The car is basically a daily driver, so a comfortable ride would be nice. Thanks for any info.Brian

kyb's work fine on the early mustangs. just a note they have a set of low pressure gas shocks as well as a set of high pressure one's. if you are looking more for ride over handling go for the low pressure one's.

KYB's and Monroe make fair shocks for VMS's Both carry low and high pressure gas shocks as well as standard shocks. If you want a mushy ride, go with the low pressure shocks, or buy the cheaper standard ones. Personally, I like to feel the road in my '65
