It appears as the bugs get worked out of the White Stallion I'm coming to the realization I might need a slightly higher stall convertor for the green dot C-4 in my '65. Well... that or better brakes.

I probably only need a couple of hundred rpms. Can I use anything from another FOMOCO product out of a junk yard? Have any of you installed an aftermarket 12" convertor with a slightly higher stall speed than stock?

Yes, factory 11 inch from a 64 260 Falcon or Fairlane with a C-4 will give you about 2500 max stall. (if you can find one)
