I am trying to get my tranny kickdown lever back to original. I was wondering if anyone could take a pic of theirs and let me know what it looks like.. I am trying to figure out what I need to buy to get the rod coming out of the tranny and up the firewall uses to connect to the back of the carb or pedal assembly. I now have a rod (kick down rod) that runs from the tranny up the firewall and is threaded on top. how do I connect that to the pedal levler, or the throttle rod??

Chiltons repair book talks about that plus a diagram. On mine all it was is a 10" cable from the trans. to the accel. rod. Any parts house has them. Very easy hook up.---S
