Has anybody out there ever adapted the Fox body, or SN95 GT tailpipes to an early (65-70) Mustang? I like the way they look, and was wondering how they would work on an early model car. Can anybody post some pix of how they attach to the cars originally, and give any insight on adapting them? Thanks.

They sell long chrome tail pipe extensions that look similar and can be welded or clamped to your existing tail pipes.

The Flowmaster 2 1/2" "American Thunder" exhaust system (or just the tail pipes) for the early Mustang look exactly like the original pipes on my 85 GT. They are both shiney stainless steel and the ends are cut at a slight angle.

As long as they look similar, and are stainless, then they sound like what I'd want. I just didn't want to buy some chrome ones, since they rust eventually. Thanks guys.
