Hello my fellow brothers of the Mustang. I am working with another Mustanger about putting a club together. My cohart has a site called classic pony and we are going to work off of it for now. Was wondering what kind of advise you could give us on how you have gotten your clubs started. We are going to have a meeting to figure out what we need to get the club off the ground. Do you have any by-laws? We would like any informatin that can be provided. The club will be based out of Effingham Illinois so if anybody close would like to come to the meeting let me know and I will get you all the details. radrider------------------ http://a4.cpimg.com/image/62/FA/7197794-791e-00800034-.jpg

First things first. Start by getting a number of members together and then work on the by-laws a group. What type of goals will the club have? Such as putting on shows to raise money for a local charity. You could also contact the Mustang Club of America, www.mustang.org for by-laws to see what they use. Just a couple of ideas to start with. Keep it friendly , no snobs allowed , ownership is not necessary but enthusiasm is. Keep it fun and up-beat , as your membership grows your by-laws will emerge and develope. Enjoy the cars , but , more importantly , enjoy the people JOHN
