My car has been running hot so I pulled my 66-289 heads off my 86-302 to re-drill my water jackets or steam holes. On my block the water jackets are at a 1:00 position. On the heads there at a 12:00 position. Now I have heard that I drill a 1/4 in. hole in my heads at the 1:00 position. Is that correct? How far do I drill? It looks like I can drill untill I hit a water passage. Thanks,Tony
