I`m taking my 289 heads off my 302 to redrill my steam holes.When I took my intake off I notice that the port hole on each side of intake in the very back were blocked off.Where as the heads had water passages there.Is that normal? Thanks,Tony------------------

Yes, that's normal. Most manifolds do not have a crossover in the back
