A T-5 isn't a direct bolt-in, but you can adapt it to fit. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150

The add is for a T10 4 spd for 65-66 Mustangs. Wasn't sure if there was difference or not in the length for a 69.

If you want a 4 speed, find a toploader, the T10's arent that strong behind a healthy motor.

Thanks for the advice. I still need to know if the manual tran's are year specific. I've seen post where people were looking for 4 spd's and they were told that tailshafts were longer/shorter and shifter mounts were in different locations between models (mustangs, comets, fairlains, etc).

Mustang/Cougar are same, Fairlane is different. Cant remeber if its longer or shorter, but it will still fit, just need to hack up the tunnel abit for the shifter to fit right.Rick

Mustangs have a shorter tailshaft. Other than that you need to watch for small block and big block trannys, the big blocks have a larger input shaft.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150

Thanks for the info. Will it bolt up to my 3 spd bellhousing or do I need to swap the whole thing? If I have to swap the whole thing will my clutch linkage have to be changed? Thanks again.
