I've been meaning to ask this question...When taking apart my 289 for rebuild, I noticed the rocker arms had little tabs on them, some on the left and some on the right. I'm presupposing they indicate exhaust and intake, but mine were not installed in any particular order. Am I right about them indicating intake and exhaust? If so, will mixing them up be of any consequence. I don't have enough rockers with the tabs on the right. deadhead

There is no differance between the intake and exhaust rockers. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked." The tabs are where they were connected to the spider when they were initially cast. As far as mixing them up, thats not a problem. Just try to keep the pivot balls in the same rockers.Mike
