Have any of you had a problem with your headers interferring with your clutch fork? I just installed a pair of Hedman elite series headers, and the third tube runs right behind my clutch fork. I can only engage the clutch half way. What should I do to remedy this? Bend the header or modify the clutch fork???

Welcome to M&M Colt 68 ! There are significant differances between 3 and 4 speed clutch "Z" bars. 90% of the 3 speed "Z" bars will interfere with aftermarket headers due to there geometry. Your alternatives are to find a 4 speed "Z" bar from a junk yard or NPD, or cut, alter and re-weld your 3 speed unit. This is common. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver MCA member# 53321 NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Professional Manwhore The Barry of BarrysGrrl Quote #1: "I never met a magazine mechanic I liked."
