What is the deal with header manufacturers (like Dynomax)saying that their 351C headers will fit a '71 to '73 with a C4 but not a C6? I didn't think a C6 was that much larger in the bellhousing area.....

The generic headers (the collector) on my '73 were up against the trans pan on the passenger side with a C-6, I didn't have that problem with a C-4 or FMX.------------------

I've got the dynomax 1 3/4" pri. headers on my '72 4V cleveland and C6, clears the trans fine (might want to insulate the cooler lines though). Only tight area is at the steering box. I have been pleased with them for the money ($90 from Summit). But I'd really like some super comps. Good luck, Tom
