Alright guys, I get a little squeal when moving from a stop sign. Sounds like the fan belt. The fan belt is a new Goodyear Gatorback v-belt. We retensioned it after a few miles cause it loosened up. I only get this squeal in "drive" no squeal in park or neutral.Any ideas? Thanks!! Take a bar of hand soap , and , as the belt is rotating , rub a little bit of the soap on the belt. Not so much so it slips. Then start from a standing stop and see if it squeals. If the squeal is gone you know what the problem is , if it is still there , look at your water pump bearings , or , alt.
