Hey All, For those in the know I have a few questions. I am in the gathering of parts stage for the wifes 66 project. From what I understand, I will need to change the steering box and all the steering components to convert to ps. I have already installed 5 lug drums but I will be changing to discs before the car hits the road. If I use granada disc's I think I will need a special tie rod. If I was to use disc's from another stang say from 67/70 would I need a special tie rod? What about steering components? Do granada components fit under a 66 stang? What other cars can I use for donors? As always thanks in advance. John BTW On my 70 cougar the original disc's and steering work great, would the same components fit the 66? (I know the box is different.)

John,The Granada parts will fit your 66. If you are converting to power steering, you will need a special tie rod end. Mustangs Plus sell the correct one. If you are using manual steering, you will need the Granada tie rod end. You can search other threads on this site for more info. Also check out MustangSteve.com. He has a great article about the conversion. Phil

Just remember if you use the Granada spindles the hubs are bigger(where they fit through the hole) and original style wheels won't fit.I used 69 cougar spindles on my 63 Falcon.
