I picked up a 351W D9AE short block and want to know what to use from it. Rods have the football bolts in them.

If that is a truck block, I assume it is because those are truck rods, I have read that the short block can handle 700 HP. I am only quoting a book because I don't have my own 351 finished yet. I am using the same block, rod, crank combination that you have and am shooting for 500 HP.
