I searched all the threads but no info found on generic rotors (from California Mustang, NPD, ETC). I can find Raybestos and Bendix for 110.00-125.00 each at the local Checker Auto. The mustang parts houses sell their rotors for 69.95 + shipping ea. Is there a big difference going with the name brand? I will be using the car for light driving, maybe daily if everything goes well. Also Ive seen a number of comments on the KYB shocks. Are their certain model numbers I should look for as front and rear set? Or do you just go by the year of the car?? I will have either a 302 4v with aluminum GT40 heads or a351W with the same type of heads. My front disc brakes are factory and I am having the calipers rebuilt at SSBC. Thanks in advance for your opinions. Bill

Sounds like a lot for rotors didnt pay much more for my turbo slots from SSBC,and the KYB gas shocks are great.A friend put some on his 66GT-350 (got a set real cheap)then ordered new KONIs after he got them he made the switch after a couple auto-X sessions he put the KYBs back on.

It's all in the material. Third world or "MOST" if not all Asian "NO NAME" import products are made from inferior metals and wide tolerances. Many of these products do not have to meet DOT standards due to age of vehicle or country of origin. I hope your not talking about SSBC because I have their turbo slots and hp pads on mine and they have had major work on Lime Rock and Charlotte for SAAC events and are still in great shape.I know you guys dont like the Shelby guys ,but the ones I know are the best bunch of guys.Plus no speed limits on open track like MCA does.
