How can i check what the stall speed of my converter is? if there is a way????

from what i have heared and tried some, kinda idle along in high gear. then floorboard it. notice where the rpm flashes to. that should get you pretty close. i think~!

I jsut rebuilt it, its a C6 they put in a trans-go shift kit and a converter i just want to see if they really put the converter they said they put.

With the engine and trans warm up, put the car in second gear, hold the brake tight as you can with your left foot, and put the gas to the floor for about 2 or 3 seconds. Pay attention to the tach and as long as the tires don't spin, that will be your stall. Flash may be 1-200 more RPM max.
