Hello everybody,

I'd be very interesting browsing around this forum, I've learned alot !

For example : my seatbelts with retractors were available as a dealer option...

I was wondering about my windshield : it comes with a large transluscent blue stripe faded at the top (not a sticker ) Was it also an option or was it standard ?

Thank you if have any information...

Ok guys, I've been browsing around the Members cars, and it appears the stripe is on everyone who's got a windshield...

Actually it was an option. It came with the tinted windows I believe. Its common on cars from the southern States because of the heat they were normally ordered this way.Up here in Canada its unusual to see an original Canadian car with tinted glass.

Actually I don't think it was offered as an option from the factory.

By the way, I just had to replace my original windshield glass and all avaiable glass on the market has that darned sunscreen tint on it. Yuck!

Anyone want to trade a new repop '67 windshield for a clean used one?

In '68 it was, according to my references. That said, the '67 and '68 windshields are not quite the same.

A friend has a 65 or 66 with green tinted glass all the way around except the windshield. Claims to be original.....
