What all will I need? I know I'll need the distributor. I'm also going to be using a Crane Fireball HI-6 ignition box with this setup. So what else do I need besides the distributor?P.S. And what years cars/trucks have a 351W duraspark? I'll need a 351 dist. ------------------ Hoofbeats are louder than Heartbeats! 68 Coupe, now with a 351W and 5speed. Duraspark or aftermarket? You mention both.

I guess I worded that funny. I want to use a duraspark distributor with the Crane ignition box. Is there anything else I need?I'm not an ignition expert, that's why I'm here for help. I need someone to explain some things to me. If I get the duraspark dist. and I have the Crane ign. box, do I need anything else? Or would the Crane box work with a points distributor? Or work with Pertronix? Thanks. ------------------ Hoofbeats are louder than Heartbeats! 68 Coupe, now with a 351W and 5speed. Now officially dubbed "THE PIT" New addition: 63 Fairlane 500!!

The Crane HI6 reccomends you use thier $70 coil (LX92). Other than that, you need a wire harness adaptor and I strongly encourage you to have a properly curved dizzy for you application. I used the Duraspark dizzy and stock box when I smoked everyone just before Woodward cruise this year. No wire harness adaptor needed and stock coil worked fine.
