During this winter I want to replace the heater core and check the bulbs in the dash as they are extremely dim. Any recommendations for tech data that would help in this?

You can't beat the Ford shop manuals. If you don't have them, you really should get them.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150

A 70 dash is a real SOB to get out. It has more curves than Pamela anderson I always got mine out and back in, but at the very end when I was sure I had finished and created no cracks, that's when it would crack. I finally removed it and put in an aluminum one. Of course it isn't as pretty, but it isn't cracked either. BTW, you can get FORD shop manuals now on CD Rom. It's worth it.
