which way to you install the U-shaped trunk seal on a '65 ? I know the U should face into the trunk, but which side do you glue to the trunk lid ? the slightly longer flat side or the shorter rounder side ? thanks, Nic.

The flat side goes against the trunk lid to give maximum contact area for the adhesive.
