Vent tube for your rear end housing. You can replace it with regular fuel line. {5/16" ? }------------------ All Fords since 1977!

I will tell you a sad story about that vent tube in the rear axle--As I was driving the 66 Mustang one day-my air shocks failed, and the car rear end fell, crimping that line-- two seconds later a big white smoke started pouring out from behind me-- the added pressure in the axle shaft blew out the rear wheel seal! one thing always leads to another! and I have to laugh at you replacing your exhaust in the pouring rain-- I do my best work in the pouring rain (at nite, on call)--but if I ever start to work on my car and it is not raining?--my neighbors get out the umbrellas! I am more accurate than the weather channel!
