Hi

Has anyone tried the blue dash light diffusers for 65/66 mustangs that I just noticed in the NPD catalog? My 66 convert dash lights are really dim. I have cleaned everything up and the original diffusers are all there and better now but still not the light output I would like. Thinking about replacing all the diffusers and going to 1816 bulbs to try and increase the light intensity. Has anyone used these diffusers or are they just a waste of time. Any comments appreciated.

I have the Blue and Clear for my 68 and after using both the blue seems a "softer" back light.

My backlights look green on my 68, is blue the correct colour? Maybe they turn green with age. My 2000 car has a green look to it also, but that doesnt mean much.

My dash lights also seem dim, but I love the green look and wouldnt want to go blue just to go brighter. Thats just my opinion about colour but i dont know how the dash works.

The blues not brighter its softer..not even blue just a very soft "white".When we went to the VDO gauges I had to replace the blue with clear to get the brightness more "even".

I have found both Blue and clear in the 68 in fact the blues were in my 68FB and the clears came from another 68 cluster we had..interseting enough out of the 4 clusters we have mine was the only one with blue the other came from Coupes.
