Hey guys, I just rebuilt my Holley 650 double pump using one of their rebuild kits and I fired it up today, well I tried....I turned on the car and it ran for about 3 seconds when it turned off. My dad told me that gas was sprouting up from the primary airhorn What can be causing this? I have no clue what to do. I replaced the gaskets, power valve, pump diaph.,and valve & seats'. Where did I go wrong? Please help. Aldo.

Aldo,Your primary float is sticking or adjusted too high. Turn it down and adjust it until the fuel just trickles out the primary bowl's plug. SteveW

You can clip the orange stem off but not too far down. Clip just enough to make sure the float moves freely and will seat properly.
