Does anyone have an aftermarket shifter in a stock 68 console? Does anything fit without cutting the console?

For a 4-spd stick, yes, the Hurst Comp plus. For an auto, nope, not that I'm aware of....

It's a C4.
I have an AOD that will probably replace it.
The shifter I buy will have to work on the AOD.

The only one that I know will work for certain with a stock console is a Lokar.

Windsor-Fox.com in Ca sells a shift rod that allows the use of the orig 68 shifter. For racing, go without a console unless you want to destroy a 275-300 console.
