In my 66 coupe there was piece of un-sanded and horribly painted plywood paneling on the deck above and behind my rear seat. I am going to replace it with a piece of 1/8th inch birch after I stain and gloss it. I was wondering what was originially put here by Ford?

Usually fiber board that was covered to match the interior color of your mustang.
