How do I remove the AC compressor from a 69 Mustang with a 302? I am trying to install new heads, but can't get the compressor off.

Thanks.

Should be straight forward, compressor is just bolted to the front of the head with brackets. What are you having trouble with?

I have gotten off ever bolt I can reach. The compressor seem to have a large treaded rod than has nuts at the end. I can move it up and down by about 1/2", but it wont move forward. I was thinking maybe Im missing something. I have not removed any of the brackets from the compressor. I started to remove one and it started leaking.

I was able to get that A/C compressor off, but it didn't want to come. There are 2 bolts on the heads that are a pain in the @-- to get off, but I did it. The engine sound great.
