Got a 66 mustang that had a broken 4 way switch.I got one from a parts car and joined up all the wires(I know there correct because they're colour coded)and the 4 ways work fine but now the signal lights blink extremely fast.Do these cars have two flashers?I found one and tried replacing it with a heavy duty one but it made no difference. What gives?

They work by sensing heat, so your replacement is probably rated for more current flow than your car puts out. There are two flashers, one for the turn signals, one for the hazards. ------------------

Can anyone tell me where the two flashers are located.I found the one, sort of in the centre area of the dash, where is the other one?I tried listening for the "clicking" with the signals turned on but couldn't find it this way.
