i was checking out the turn signals and the brake and running lights. I found lose connections the usuall but the one that has got me is when you have the parking lights on the drivers side turn signals stop blinking and the indicator light inside gets real dim. Also if you remove the light socket from the housing in the back it will still light up with no ground. Sounds like a short some where any ideas. It works fine with out the running light on

Had a similar problem when I pulled up on the steering column one day to adjust the steering wheel gap. Turns out there was a short to the ground in the connector inside the column.

Sounds like you have a bad ground. Time to check all the ground connections.
