What kind of metal is the stock distributor gear on a 69 351W distributor? Will this gear work okay with the roller cam of a 94? or will one chew up the other? I have the bronze gear, but I don't feel like switching them again. Will the stock dist. gear work okay with a roller cam?
Update:
I finally got the stuck distributor out, I had to beat on it and of course get a new one cuz it was tore up (the housing where I beat it at). I traded it in as a core and the new one fits right in and comes right back out. I guess someone sold me the wrong distributor.

It is made of cast iron. It will NOT work with the roller. You need a steel or bronze gear.
